IQ is not fixed

Until recently, I thought that IQ was fixed, that what you were born with was all you got. Since then research has shown that IQ can fluctuate over the course of one’s life.  Doing things such as learning another language, playing classical music, and continuous learning can boost IQ.  Watch this video by Khan Academy to see what I’m talking about:
