  1. As a writer (see website http://www.teacherzones.com) and international speaker on the new methodology impacting the educational system, (“The New Wave” at the international future education conference at Florence, Italy last June, “Can schools teach wisdom in what students learn on their own? – teaching beyond the tests” at the international quality management conference in London this January and “How do we fit active research within our curriculum at various grade levels?” at the international curriculum conference in Ottawa this May) you will not be able to fit them under instruction as to knowledge needed to be learned by the student. But rather as capabilities in the use of computers, defining one’s personal health and one’s own needs in perpetuating self-learning in acting within one’s community. This is achieved in incorporating active research through inquiry, global conferencing, group enhanced projects and personal portfolio assessment as the teacher is not only an instructor but a facilitator in the development of wisdom in the child.
I hope this is helpful to you as I share your vision of education for the world that is equitable to everyone.
