Empowering collaborative communities

3 girls sitting at computers in Central AmericaAs Education Director of 4 the World, I am interested in equity in and through education. I earned my M.Ed. from Vanderbilt University in International Education Policy and Management and completed internships in DC and West Africa. I have also worked as an educator in the U.S. public school system for 6 years and as a volunteer for Going Global with travel to Southeast Asia for 3 years.

4 the World is focused on three project areas: computer centers, health education and care, and school refurbishment. These project areas are designed and carried out in collaboration with local communities and united by a common vision: to provide sustainable solutions in health care and education.

  1. So happy to find your blog! Your path is similar to my own, and it is refreshing to find like minded people. Global competence or bust!

  2. I watched with interest the webinar today on 4your world and was wondering if you are interested in educating teachers on how to listen to their students in developing their own self learning in interacting with their environment?
If you wish more information on self-learning visit my webinar presentation at this global conference recording under paul loranger on implementing global education within each grade level.

I look forward to hearing from you as we advance together the learning of the world around us.
